Club Feedback Questionnaire

Thank you for all those who took the time to complete the questionnaire they have been very helpful for the club.

 On Saturday November 12th Tiverton Harriers "sponsored" the parkrun at Killerton. Parkrun is a weekly, timed 5k run that happens all over the country and indeed in many parts of the world each Saturday morning. Participation is free, though you need to register beforehand to get your unique running ID and barcode. Once registered you can take part in any parkrun using the same barcode. Parkrun is organised and marshalled entirely by volunteers and by "sponsoring" a parkrun a club undertakes most of the volunteer roles which frees up some of the regular volunteers who give their time week after week.

 

On a bright, sunny and surprisingly dry morning 8 volunteers turned up to marshal and a further 14 ran the course. It was good to see a group of juniors taking part too. I'm sure it's something we'll do again as everyone seemed to enjoy it and our efforts were much appreciated by the parkrun organisers. For more information about parkrun look at parkrun.com

Tiverton Harriers Juniors,

Last night at Knightshayes is Tuesday 18th October.  There will be no training on Tuesday 25th October.  Then onto the Astro Turf at the Leisure Centre on Tuesday 1st November for winter training at the new time 5-6pm.

Tiverton Harriers also took part in Sports Relief 2010, at Tiverton High School. I would like to give thanks and a WELL DONE for all those who took part, also a big thanks to the school for letting us use their facilities.
